The Red Hair Finnigan -Quest8

 February 2035

The day of the Chinese New Year, Aiden learns some technical move in Kung fu, one of these martial arts Claire prompts them to learn. In case of.
If Loan didn't learn before it's because some martial art could influence the size and Claire really wants her boy to be tall, unlike her (and hoping that the Metis had inherit more of his father for this one).
So they are in the middle of a specially hard move when they receive guests.
And not anyone: the seventh son and his mate, please.
"What's up guys?" Loan's auto-proclaimed godfather Adrian DucSurion greets them.
"Well enough, we are training Kung fu moves," Cael replies when he notices their friend just smile at the couple without taking a pause.
"Interesting!" Clyde Young exclaims delightfully. "And when did you begin?"
He was a talent actor. In the past employment, because before he discovers his nature, a kitsune (Japanese God who has 9 hundred years life), he used to act in the screen but when his nature stops his age at 20 he decides to live a nomad life with his mate the seventh son. And here he is, helping his lover in his quest to training the Next in the world. And visit his former classmate too, visibly.
"Recently," Loan answers laconically.
"Actually, today," Aiden beams welcoming the pause.
Not that he wants to lazing out but come on, he's not sure that it's his cup of tea.
"Ha, adorable! Ton amie est vraiment pragmatique de les faire apprendre ça."
"Elle est assez prévoyante, oui, c'est le moins qu'on puisse dire," Adrian nods.
"Hey! Ce n'est pas sympa de parler dans le dos des gens et encore moins d'une autre langue pour le faire en face d'autres gens!" Cael defends their guardian but Aiden thinks it is to impress the younger.
Loan nods eagerly and the couple freeze.
"Un peu trop prévoyante, si tu veux mon avis." Clyde scoffs. "哪你们是不是国语也会讲?"
"Well, we don't really know Chinese but we understand a little," Aiden admits.
"And Russian?"
"Same."
"Well... What was she thinking while raising you boys?" Clyde does deadpan.
"Make them independents?" Adrian suggests.
"She wants to leave them alone, right?"
His companion shrugs.
"At least, Crystal hasn't have to do this all."
"Of course, she hasn't have." Clyde sighs.
"Well, it's not like Wyatt will let her to do that either," Aiden mutters.
"Okay since we are here, you could accord us your attention?" Clyde claps his hands.
Cael stops gladly his friend and the three boys stand in front of the kitsune.
"If I tell you 'fly', what will you say?"
"Adrian." The three say simply.
Clyde laughs brightly at that. "Okay, why not. But if I say I can teach you how to fly?"
"I wanna learn!" Cael volunteers.
Loan pouts. "You stops my practice for another martial art?"
"Hey! How do you know?"
"What is it called?" Aiden prompts.
"Tricking. Training discipline which combines martial arts kicks and dance move."
"Thus the fly," the brothers deduce.
"Yeah. Anyone interested?"
The false twins exchange a glance and smile widely at the Japanese.
"Wanna learn!"
"Good! And you, Loan?"
"I have to practice my Kung fu." The Metis boy pouts.
Clyde rolls his eyes but turns away to chat with the boys.
"Don't be mad at him, or them. He just wanted to have fun." Adrian says to the metis.
"But why does he have to interrupt our practice?"
"I think he just want you to change idea."
"It just works for them."
"Well, you could always join them."
"No way."
"Or you could read."
"What?"
"I don't know. What do you know?"
"All the Grimoire in the house."
"And?"
"That it."
"Wow, you really should widen your read. Look, I'll give you all the book apart from magical stuff and you share your time with Kung fu and the reading, okay?"
"I can do that."
This is why at the first meet of the 30 Legends, the three eldest children show to the younger tricking moves.
