• The Red Hair Finnigan -Quest7

    August 2034

At 9, Aiden (Eli Brooks) and Cael Finnigan find how to call their father attention.
Well, we all know that Tobias is teacher, right ? A potion teacher who teach at Hogwarts the wizards and witchcraft school of the Great Britain and North Ireland? So, it isn't unexpected that the twin could make potions.
Truly, they use to make mixture and cook since they can do it by themself, in other word at 7 when in random summer day, Claire let them alone as always. So after the day they wait alone on the Potters' porch and on Clara's advice, they decide to draw their father attention. By cooking or making potion in front of him.
If the first times he smiles widely at them, glad they inherit his passion, they are quickly disappointted when they see that his attention is quickly drawn by the assignments he has to correct.
At the elementary Institute founded by Abigail Potter that they were forced to go, they just learn some things about magical stuff. Thing like spells that can be use via grimor, basics ingredients or how to ride brooms.
There are only two institutors here, because only few parents allow their child to attend. And there are also few muggle born who came once their muggle school are finish (e.g. At four p.m).
With Sean Carmichael who teach muggle studies at Hogwarts in few years, the twins learn some interesting stuff about their life-style. And when they stay long time, they even make friend with some of them (they are gone by 6 in the afternoon).
Anyway, what is it is that they don't give homework at the Institute, so they have plenty time to spend once they are at home, thus they want to call their daddy's attention. Plus it's just legitimate, he's their dad.
    But the latter is busy.
    Like always.
Once, Harley comes to give their father plants he needs. Because being the herbology professor, she has access with lot of ingredient Tobias want for his potions. And if they are pretty fond of her, she really isn't the best to play with when she gives more work to their dad.
At least, she gives them plants too as apology. Because she eventually understand it bothers them to be distant to their only family (apart of their grandparent, cause they're more relative than anything else).
But one day, after she left there is a incident.
"Wow, calm down boys! What happen?"
    "Cael cheats!"
    "I didn't!"
"You did! And it's so unfair!"
    "I didn't!"
"But what's the deal?" Tobias stops the ridiculous shenanigans. "What did Cael cheat on you?"
"I did not!" The blonde hammered once again.
"He uses my absent to ask more to Harley! And she gives him because he's manipulative!"
"Wait, what more?" The father asks warily.
"Plant! What do you think?" The boys jeer.
"And it's unfair because Harley wouldn't have give you that if we are two to ask!" Aiden snarls.
"I'm not the one who start it! You told her that if you have more than me you can make more potions!"
    "And it's true!"
"No, it's not! You don't even know how to brass the aconit with the Billywig stings!"
"It's not because I haven't succeed the first time that I can't learn!"
"I don't even know that you two know how to make the wideye potion as it's at third year potions class from Hogwarts program." Tobias mutters unbelievably.
"Well, so you aren't the best place to say I cheat when you do worse!" Cael snarls and he adds quickly when he sees his brother ready to protest. "You did! You told Harley that you'll guard her case but you hide that under you bed!"
"Alright! I might say something like that but eventually she said that she gave it to me!"
"It's because you took them in hostage! And I wanted some of this stuff!"
    "You just are jealous."
"Of course I'm jealous!" Cael yells.
"Okay, shut up, boys!" Their dad eventually interferes because, hello, it was his goal but he gat little sidetracked. "All I understand is that you're envy each other! So there is just one thing to do: share your possession."
The boys stare at each other without speaking then pout. The arguing doesn't last very long. Barely fifteen minutes and their father kill this without step in too much, like he doesn't seem committed by the quarrel. Okay, so it's childish but he's a father and it's his job to deal with that.
    "Yeah, maybe you're right."
    "We probably should do this."
"So not any contest? Good news."
"Whatever we say it'll be good news from the time it won't disturb your task."
The man turns his heels without saying anything, and he probably doesn't hear this like everything it happen to them in his house.
The brothers slump on the sofa and exchange a look then shrug.
    "So, the trade?"
Why not? For once their father give them a piece of advice.
