2. Micos

The warrior's name's Micos.

His older brother's Atoc. Pedro had no actual reason to know that but for the fact that Atoc was as inclined to believe in the Five than his fellows Incan. So he noticed them, especially when Micos was a deep believer in Pedro and his friends.

Pedro understood him, he didn't believe either when his double of the alternate future first told him and he only changed his mind when he could see him in his dream where it was solely for him and four foreign figures. Also, the fact that Pedro was spouting murder every two minutes didn't help his case. 

But to assure Atoc that Pedro's the real deal, he promised himself to bring Micos back. After all, much like the twins, Pedro considered that siblings should stick together. It reminded sadly of his infant sister that he never got the chance to know for having lost her in the flood. 

"Hold my hand tight, Micos. I don't know how the door works so if problem arise, we'd stick together." 

"Do not worry, young Pedro. I'll do my best to support you and no hinder in your duty."

If he's not trustworthy. Pedro'll make sure he stay alive and unharmed. 

According to fake Manco Capac's training, one may stay healthy by just being in his vicinity, physical contact assure immediate healing. So hand holding will do. 

When they went through the door and step on water, Pedro immediately thought he had failed brought them to a lots place about to be flooded. 

And if his power could heal everything, he doubted it could be of help for drowning. 

So he step back and was about to push the door with a five cross star when Micos insisted they advance. He said that fake Manco Capac had said that the door in the US was located in a lake, so nothing surprising if it's filled of water. Something fake Manco Capac failed to tell him, again.

When they got out the cave, it bought some raised eyebrows but after questioning the few people there, they were certain the door worked just fine. It's the Lake Tahoe, Navada, in America.

Now, to get to the twins. 

And the infamous Circus of Spirit.

When they arrived to the circus tent, it was the break between the first and second show of the day. They had aout four hours before the evening show, so Micos used them efficiently by tracking the owner's coordinates. Where did he live at the moment, with who and how to access there.

They took the taxi to get there, because it's impossible to get anywhere by feet in the west of US, and broke in the house without ado.

And Pedro was glad his last meal was two hours ago with a feast the Incan gave him before his first mission, because the house was a mess and smelt awful. The only resident, Macy the wife of the circus owner Don, just have the time to blink being acculed by a glock Micos pulled out and one of her kitchen knife that Pedro shamelessly stole.

"Call for the twins here and don't make a scene," Micos translated the excited Spanish noises from Pedro. 

"I can't! They're at school and then had to go to the circus immediately after. And if I call the school and make they leave earlier, they will have one too much absence notice!" 

"So you don't care if you go to the other side earlier?!"

Micos didn't think it was worth translating and only removed the security to make his intention clear. Macy crumbled in fear, and wetted herself, before forcing herself to take the phone and dial the twins' school. Pedro's sharp knife told her to not try any trick.

Ten minutes alter, the twins arrived and called for the reason of their presence here. When no one answered, with Micos discreetly putting away his gun to not scare them, the twins arrived to the unexpected scene of two stranger in their house.

Pedro made a show to look at them straight in the eyes before plunging his knife in Macy's stomach. The woman let out a cry before losing consciousness. 

The twins gasped but did nothing else. 

Taking his weapon back and letting the blood splash the floor, Pedro waited for more. But no one moved for a long time. 

"Well?" He eventually asked them. 

"Well what?" 

"Your guardian just got stabbed, don't you need to react more?" 

"She let her husband abused and exploited us for a year. I think she deserved that." 

"Aren't you worried that her aggressor would harm you too?" 

The twin with more fierce in the eyes stepped before his brother and watched with challenge. 

"I dare you to try." 

Micos raised his empty hands to show he's unharmed. Pedro was going to do the same but only wvfaed the knife to strongly and let the blood splatter everywhere. 

"She not dead! Not killing her or Don. See, all healed." 

With amazement, the twins watched the wound on Macy's paunch disappear and the blood stop spilling.

"Then what's the point?" Jamie, or Pedro supposed it's him, asked. 

"If her or Don are not your guardians, you two are free and can come with me." 

"Why would we do that?!" Scott, assumption again, questioned him with incredulity.

"Me, not harming you! I am the boy of your dream! We're the Five!" 

If that ain't corny. 

"I'm your ally, friend! We save the world with two others. Matteo and Scar!" 

The twins exchanged a look. 

"And we'll save the world, by stabbing and healing Macy?"

"You make her and Don criminals by controlling their mind. You're not under their guard and we find Matteo and Scar!" 

"Wha-" 

"Come on, boys. The sooner we get you of their guardianship, the faster we reunite the Five and find a measure to stop the Old Ones and those whan want them back." 

Looking between Pedro who cleaned the handle of the knife to rid of his fingerprints again and Micos who's handing them the phone, Jamie and Scott chose to probe their mind quickly.

Only to give up as fast, maybe they should honed their Spanish first.

After quick calls to the polices and Don, they had Pedro explain everything as Micos got out of the house without being seen. 

As Don came before the law enforcement, Pedro saw the chance and stabbed Macy quickly before handing him the knife and using the flowing blood to smear it on his own crotch. Angered that a stranger dare mess with his wife's corpse, Don was about to use the weapon his hands to commit actual murder.

Here, the bond between the boys tightened when both twins controlled Don to not harm Pedro, whow as soon as he heard the polices knocked on the door, started to scream murder and tape.

When the polices barged inside, the twins weren't even acting to be shocked by the shamelessness of their fellow of the Five. So he wanted to frame Don in this way. 

Soon, the neighborhood heard of Don being arrested of attempts murder and child sexual abuse.

In the aftermath, the inspector who subdued the criminal reported that both adults will be taken care as the man was unrepentant and the woman was accomplice. 

The criminal was a mess of outrageous words and a refusal of seeing him in the wrong. While I court, he was even foolishn enough to say that children existed to be used. That sentenced him of two dozens of years and he probably won't get to see the light of the day since even criminals despised pedophiles. 

The domestic violence victime gave an half-assed witness in saying she tried to stop her spouse of touching their guards but never stopped him when it was other kids. Especially when they're from other countries, she even continued by stating that people of color only deserve to be white people's slaves. Since she wasn't injured anymore, she was sentenced for half of her accomplice's period. But she neither Ont be seeing the daily light since prison for women tended to be full of people of color who happened to have great mother instinct and won't letting her out for her statement. 

See, Pedro succeeded and having them killed. Only after they're out of the twins' life so no one would even dare link to them. 

The agent questioning Pedro couldn't get anything from him than Spanish blabbering and gave him an orange towel to help the shock. Soon, Jamie and Scott got the same treatment before they're put under child care again. 

The only loose end would be the performers of the scam circus who ended up being jobless. 

Micos appeared again after all the drama and the twins mind controlled the social worker so they're quickly adopted by him. 

In one night, the twins had their life changed.
