    Today is the day.
" But I don't wanna go to school ! " Aiden whines shifting away from his dad's hand.
He and his brother will be 6 in fifteen days, but now they have to go to school. The Institute for wizard children aged 6 to 11, it's Hogwarts for elementary school pupils. Opened and directed by Abigail Potter, James Potter's wife.
And they're not enjoying that at all. Aiden is fighting with his dad who's tempting to dress him like normal children but the redhead kid is fidgeting and Cael is hidding behind Loan.
"Stop complaining! You can't stay here for your whole life!"
"Why not? I want to stay with Loan!" Cael pouts hugging his friend.
Loan hugs back and turns toward his mother.
    "Mummy?"
    "Yeah, baby?"
"I don't want to go to school."
"Okay, baby", Claire agrees without arguing.
"Why couldn't you be that understandable too?" Aiden mumbles.
"Because I decide so and you and your brother must to go to school."

Because they're too influenced by Claire's education. For instance, they're vegans, they can speak little Chinese, Russian and French and can recognize when people spoke Danish/Norwegian/Swedish(since it's practically the same). Likewise, It wasn't uncommon that they kept their hair long for the Chinese mother, because even if she hadn't work in this path she kept playing with everyone's hairs, mostly children (because she can emotional blackmail them with babysitting thing and because her agriculture's days are very very lame since she thinks that her son Loan is quite aged to learn all by himself).

"But I wanna stay with the Potters!" Aiden struggles.
"Mummy!" Cael sobs snuggling to Claire.
Who jumps. That's right, he calls her that since the Nightmare Attack but it was always a surprise to hear.
In the couch, there are some of 30 Legends who observe the scene with amusement.
"And all the parents should deal with that", Chloe scoffs.
"Well, maybe not the Potter." Harley huffs.
"And why are we all here?" Kenneth whispers against the couch's arm.
    "Because of that?" Adrian laughs.
"Why are you so into that? Claire and Albus can teach us all the things before Hogwarts! Why does it even bother you? You're not the one who keep us!"
    "Aiden!" Tobias growls.
The boy jerks and stifles, the others freeze. There is a silence where Claire frowns then breathes out.
"I will make Crystal's food in the next room and you'll deal with that, quietly."
The warning is utterly in the last word and without adding anything, the Chinese woman leaves the living room. The atmosphere is still awkward and the door clap adds more tension. Albus huffs quietly and walks to the door, he pats the blonde boy hairs and directs his son to follow, who obeys without a word.
"I think you need some drink, Toby! I'll give you that!" Adrian states lightly and leading his friend toward the kitchen.
"I agree, it could interfere your health if you don't have some water in one day."
Chloe stands too and the three of them leave the room too, leaving the children with the two adults who can deal with toddlers. Or at least seem more ables to deal with these two since Tobias can't go calmly with them.
    Harley sighs.
    "So, what's the deal?"
"Nothing serious. Dad just won't understand that we don't have to go to school." Aiden shrugs.
"But why don't you want to go?"
"Because we want to stay here. And why is it bothering him? It's not like he will be close to us."
"Maybe not, but I think he doesn't want to be depending on the Potters", Kenneth supplies.
"Well, it's too late." The redhead pouts.
"Yeah, we totally are into them." Cael agrees nodding eagerly.
Harley sighs again. "It very isn't a good thing."
"But it's not like he noticed this, he's never here."
"He does his best," Kennie defends his friend.
"It's not easy for him." Harley asserts too.
"It isn't for us, too," the toddlers wince.
"Give him a chance? He will be more aware from now on," Harley says.
"And would you try the school too? You could be surprised." Kenneth adds.
"But we want to be with the Potters. If we go to the Institute, we couldn't see them as much as we used to, like now. 'Cause daddy we take us home immediately after his work..." Cael sniffs.
"Sure but you still have the holidays."
"Daddy says that we have to visits the grandparents for all the celtics celebrations."
"Maybe you can see them during Chinese holydays.
"The thing is it isn't during holidays."
"Well, I'm sure you could find a reason to be dispensed for these days. Thankfully, the Institute isn't a boarding school like Hogwarts."
    "Hogwarts is a boarding school?"
At the boys' horrific eyes, the adults prefer to stay silents.
    "I don't think I want go there."
"Not now, it'll be a problem later, now do you agree to go the English Institute to make your dad glad?"
The boys still hesitate a few moments before agreeing, albeit begrudgingly. It's unfair.
"So, how is it going?" Claire asks with baby Crystal in her arms and a banana compote in her bibber.
"The boys agree to return in Britain to study and come in Russia to take part at your Chinese tradition when there are." Kenneth summarizes.
"Even if it isn't during holiday", Harley adds louder when she sees the father entering in the living room too.
Tobias pursues his lips briefly then nods. It's just a compromise.
Because there always are compromises in the life. So he can deal with that.

    For now.
