• The Red Hair Finnigan -Quest10

    September 2037

The second year at Hogwarts is more repetitive. He already met the interesting people (like the 6), heard the biggest gossip (his dad hotness) and there isn't lots of activities that he can have to be distracted (except study, you know).
"It's sad that Florian Kunar isn't here anymore, we could play Hunting him."
"I think it's more worrying that you have those thoughts for twelve years old boy", Whitney Morton comments while turning her magazine page by just blinking.
Thanks to her telekinesis talent (and Chris' training).
"Yeah, it isn't that I defend one of the bullies but I don't think that giving back what they used to do is a good idea." Joshua Calentir says.
"It's never good thing with you," Jordan Payson sneers "and do you think it's good thing that you hit on this younger girl who is metamorphomagus, namely Jane Lupin, just because she can sing Elfic and help you with your talent?"
"She's name is Jenny Lupin and I didn't hit on her."
"Wow really? You're interest on her just because of it? Uncool!" Cael exclaims.
"No, it's not because of that." Joshua replies huffing.
"I think it's because of the coup de foudre," Thelma Sherwood chants.
"Yeah, sure, they never talk to each other but suddenly he discovers that she can help him and bam, it's the love at the first sight," Tom Zeyon parodies with incredulity.
"Not the first sight since you say they have already seen each other, it's just the awakening of their libido," Jordan supplies.
"Oh my god! Not in front of the boys!" Myron Tolibar yelps, offended.
The saids boys just look at them with blank eyes.
"It's okay if you don't understand. Keep staying innocents," Whitney mutters.
"Yeah? But that doesn't help us! We're still bored!" Aiden fidgets.
"Did you try all the activities?"
"I hate groups assembly," Cael snorts.
"Oh, come on! If you don't try hard you couldn't find the fun side." Jordan scolds him.
"But everywhere we go, people just keep asking us about our daddy," Aiden points.
    The six wince.
"Right, it's not cool", Thelma mumbles,
"Yeah, why can't they be like some people who contains their curiosity, mourning into their pillow?" Whitney scoffs.
    Her friend elbows her.
"Maybe you can open your own club," Tom shrugs.
    "Like you?"
"Of course, like us," Jordan beams. "You should always do like us, we are your models."
"I don't know, we haven't the impression talent."
"Funny." The said Next with impression talent snarls.
    At least, the boys laugh.

Honestly, Aiden has some idea to distract him except the magics lessons. And no, it's not to bother his daddy, even if it could be very funny, neither to make difficult potions just because he could at Hogwarts. No, what he wants to do is knowing more about muggle.
Sure, he could totally take the muggle study which is his father's friend Sean Carmichael who is teaching it, but he just doesn't want them to know that he's interested.
So, he spends most of his time (when he isn't with his brother, which is very rare because Cael hasn't any interest for other thing since Loan isn't here) with muggle born. So with the Six, or maybe with some boys of his dorm (except Tony Lupin, Jenny's little brother).

Once, when he's spending time with some of the Six, he notices there is their sorting hat. He knows that there are people who has the desire to change house and even if he said the last year that he didn't want to change actually he has the desire too. He just doesn't want to be separate of his brother and to be alone.
So, he chooses when the Six are out of the salon to try the hat. Seems fate is on his side.
He takes gently the fabric and put it on his head. There is seconds which all he hears is sizzles then a robotics voice raises and call his name.
And at the same time, two things happen.
    The door opens.
    "Huffpuff!" The voice says.
    "Aiden?" Tom asks suspiciously.
The hat is hidden behind the boy's back. There is a beat of silence where none of the boys move. Then the redhead breaks away.
"You can't say anything to anyone! If you do, I- I'll rip the hat apart!" He stammers all red.
"Well, calm down, I didn't say anything," the elder soothes him and closes the door behind him.
    "And you won't."
"Certainly." He nods distractedly. "Does that mean you want to change house?"
"No. And I prefer to not talk about this anymore."
"...Do you want to calm yourself in the special room?"
The said special room is what Tommy had created last year with Chris' encouraging to train him. And Aiden used to go sometime and enjoy the calmness and intimacy.
So, he nods and approaches the elder boy and give his hand and the hat.
"Remember, no word about this. Especially Cael."
    "Sure, cutie."
    "Oh, shut up."
Then he disappears to the other universe.
