    March 2058

A month before Ciel's first birthday without his mother, Aden meets Miki. He was looking for a present to give his three years genius.
He opts a pause just the time to think about what, because just strolling in the street and waiting for the idea to come didn't work, then a young Asian woman sits next to him and smiles brightly. At first, he thinks it's a fan, because he still run into some who asks him autograph or hug to comfort his divorce, but he doesn't show to the world once having his baby, but she just looks at him when he returns the smile quite hesitantly.
"Want some help?" She eventually asks.
He shrugs, because come on, how can he admits that to a stranger?
"You sure? I was watching since the start and you seem to look for something specifically."
"Indeed, I was looking for something. But I actually don't know what."
    "So, want some help?"
"Yeah, maybe you could. Something that a genius baby could appreciate and find some efficacy."
    "Oh, challenge accepted."

And she does succeed. She proposes to buy a cute bloc note so the toddler could make things in sheets and entertaining himself with the technology part.
On counterpart, of course there is because the life isn't easy, Aiden has to act one more time. With Japanese actors.
He plays a homosexual character who knots a woman, who gives him a girl and his best friend trapped him asking him to be his best man his wedding day but actually proposed him today, the story actually deals about how they make here and how the best friend (lead role) becomes blind.
It's Aden's first kiss since Melody. At the end of the play, Miki let him know that she's interest.
But he doesn't feel like for this, he's a celibacy father and all his thoughts is for his son. And even if Ciel's good at hiding his feelings (like him), Aden knows that he's afraid to be abandoned so he will be here for him.
Miki doesn't fall back, she stays with them and Ciel almost accepts her. Almost because he's still sour with woman figure even if Elizabeth is here for him (but she's actress and busy too, not helping). Miki is a nice girl, she's pretty too (short black hair with big brown eyes like every Japanese) and she has patience to raise toddler but... Aden doesn't feel the spark.
And he will probably never feels that again.
Eventually, Miki stops hitting on him and one day she tells him that she's engaged. With a Japanese.
And Aden wonders really hard what she found in him.
But it's finished as it began. Just the two of them.

He doesn't know but many people worry about him. Sure he recovers enough to take care of his son alone but if they know him, they know that he couldn't live like that the rest of his life.
    He wants love.
And sure, his son loves him, but he's only three and a genius. It's not a conventional love. He wants company. And maybe they doesn't like Miki, but she at least gave some tone in his life. Now it's gray and calm again.
If only Julian's here, Eileen thinks.
Unbeknownst to them, the muggle-born knows everything. He doesn't show up because he's still hurt that his first love is with someone else. He said that he could wait and he did for the first decade after they broke up, but then he showed up with his wife. You know, the one he likes enough to live with. Thankfully, it's end. But there is proof. Ciel, the witness of their love. And Julian couldn't bear that. Because it's clear that Aiden loves him more than anyone. And Julian doesn't know if he could live with that.
The little boy just reminds him of his ex-wife and it's look like a ménage a trois. And Julian just loves Aiden, not the half part of him with someone else. So, he won't show up as early.
