The day of the World Quidditch Cup was tonight and Harry couldn't stop jumping in excitation as he and his guardians were getting ready for the portkey.

They didn't have much of luggages as they will be sharing a tent with the Weasleys they'll join in a moment but they do need to have some money and clothes with them and Rem was the one in charge of them. Since the man was used to travel light, he charmed his satchel with the really useful spell of extension.

When the pack of cigarette lighted in blue light (with a pointed look from Rem to Harry who promised to never ever thing about trying those things), delivered by the French ministry, the three of them touched at the same time and arrived at Dartmoor, not far from the Quidditch World Cup campsite.

Although he's not used of portkey, prefering using his godfather's flying motorcycle that could turn invisible and flew automatically for few hours since and that was used to travel from France to North America, Harry still managed to stomach the uneasy feeling of the transport. At least, this one didn't have soot twirling all around him.

So, Harry jumped on his feet and bounced to the man who was obviously a muggle who was checking on the bunch of wizards' name and lockey judging their clothes. Thankfully, all three of them were so used to live among muggle they were part of those rare decent clothed wizards. As Mr. Roberts ticked on their name on his list, they chose to wait before going to their tent location as they didn't have said tent with them. But Harry had to frown at the display of charming the muggle's memory whenever the ministry employee could not find a way to prevent the secret of magic getting out as soon as wizards started to put on their weird looking tent.

As the Weasleys finally arrived with the Diggorys, Harry was done arguing with the ministry employee much to Rem and Sirius' amusement.

"Harry!" Ron greeted him with a hug, freeing the poor civil of the earful from a teen.

"Ron!" Harry hugged back before pulling out his wand and casting a huge scale repel-muggle charm on the campsite.

"Shouldn't you use a glamour instead?" Rem noted after checking on mr. Roberts who as looking at the pack of cigarette with huge interest.

"I had to place the foundation first. And you could help, you know. I swear, it's as easy yet British ministry had to make a foreign teenager fo their job."

The civil had the decency to blush and mr. Weasley tried to reassure him by giving out his old boot portkey. Soon, mr. Diggory and Cedric left them after clapping on Harry's display of magic who's way of working was more efficient than actual workers.

"Did you just tell a ministry employee how to do his job?" Ginny snickered, approaching.

"Well, someone has to! In France, they won't be waiting for someone to point it out to do their job. And isn't the camp looked after by other employees than just this one?"

"You had to understand it's quite the feat to handle everything, Harry. The whole minister was running everywhere just to prepare for the world cup."

"I'm aware, mr. Weasley, but the minister had four years to prepare and it's just a little formula. It's for the secrecy of our kind. I mean, the school was hidden of sight, why couldn't the ministry think of doing the same for a simple campsite?"

"Don't be a killjoy, Harry! Let us help you if that's what you're asking!"

"Yeah, as you said, just a tiny little itty bitty formula!"

Harry couldn't help the smile while watching the twins doing magic and adding spells on his charms to strengthen the notice-me-not aura on the camp as Beaux Bâtons students were allowed to perform magic outside of school without any notice from French government as long as there's no muggles witnesses. And Mr. Roberts was curiously busied elsewhere. Once sure no one will have to modify the poor muggle's memory as it could be damaging in the long-run, Harry allowed himself to follow the gingers with his guardians following suit.

The tent was to be set near the Quidditch field and to be assembled manually, to test their handcraft. Harry was game but wasn't really helpful as Ginny pointed it out, much to his guardians' hilarity who didn't do anything then. Eventually, they're done and it was only then that Bill and Charlie showed up.

"Coming only when we're done, huh?"

"Glad to see you too, pipsqueak," Charlie greeted Harry with a ruffle of hair.

    "Hey, I'm all grown up!"

"Right, you even got yourself someone. Who's not here, because you two split up not long ago, right."

    "Sod off, that's not funny."

"We're not making fun of you, but trying to make light so it won't be sore subject anymore."

"Well, I wasn't thinking of it before you have to say something about it."

Before the match start in a few, Ron wanted to go tour the camp and Harry went with him because it was more fun to spent time with Ron of his age than his brothers who would just tease him. Which meant he was part of them, but still, he was here to have a good time and he's feeling so attacked right now. Besides, with just the two of them, Harry could ask about their other friends. As neither the Longbottoms nor the Lovegood came, not being able to have any tickets. And the former weren't much fan of the sport so will be spending time in family instead as they reunited only six years ago. Harry had a thought for the Tonks, Sirius' cousin as he remembered hearind his godfather talk about them maybe showing up but not knowing if they got tickets or if they had to give up due to their daughter being to busy to be auror to take the day off.

Ron met quite the school mates that he told Harry in private right after before he pushed Harry immediately for some reason. The name Malfoy was spit out so Harry didn't insist and they went back to their tent to see the rest of their family readying for the incoming match. As they climb the stands to their box, they met Percy following the new head of the international magical cooperation and made a competition to who could embarrass him the most by keep calling him in various pitch. Percy only acknowledged his elder brothers and a squint to the rest and Harry, who was finding him quite ungrateful.

To thanks to who, he climbed position to the second to the head? Sirius, really, for asking his grandfather to take him as apprentice to know how the ministry work with its corrupted heads. The man had unfortunately passed not long before Harry made his first entrance in a magic school but thank to that, Sirius managed to put Cedrella and Andromeda back in the family three line, so they could take what it rest of the Black money. Now, let's say the Weasley didn't have to purchase second hand supplies. Especially for Ron who was going to have Charlie's old wand as working at Romania Dragon sanctuary needed wands from the territory rather piece from a British wand maker who knew nothing of dragons.

The final was brilliant, Viktor Krum especially, something that both Harry and Ron agreed to with such passion it garnered the others' ruthless teasings. But they couldn't get it, the man was a legend to them.

The high of the world cup ending was shattered as a riot broke out.

Harry and the residents of the Perkin's tent got woken hurriedly and told to go to the wood for security as masked men were attacking tents and the muggle family.

Harry growled when recognizing mr. Roberts being hung upside down by what people called a death eater, so much for preventing him being charmed with memory spell. Now, there would be no choice but to cast some great deal and they couldn't even give a calming potion before as he was muggle and could react badly if trying to drink a sip.

For now, being part of the youngers, he had to put Ron and Ginny in security, hoping that the twins and his guardians knew what they were doing as they lent hands to the ministry side. They only stopped running once in the darkness of the woods and Harry lit the tip of his wand to make sure he still had both siblings.

As they had nothing to do but wait for a sign that's safe to go back, with Harry having the two-way mirror as easy contact, they started talking about each other's school adventures. And Harry was still surprised to hear that care for magical creatures was only an elective in third year only instead of main subject to be taught directly in first year. Creatures were so important in the wizarding world since it had a huge part in the daily life.

After some times, the mirror started to heat up and Harry took the call at the same time a green light broke into the dark sky.

"You see that too?" Sirius' voice came from the mirror.

"Yeah, it's so bright it's breaking through the leaves. The dark mark, I take it?"

    "The dark mark."

Harry felt both Ron and Ginny shuddering, whether from the raising chill at night or because of the mark signifying death commit by death eater or the dark wizard himself was anyone's guess. Then, with Sirius' permission, he brought his friends back to their family and reuniting with his guardians.

Due to circumstances, everyone will be departing earlier than expected and Harry will be spending the rest of the summer holidays at the Burrow, with Ron promising to call Neville and Luna to join, before returning to Beaux Bâtons with his guardians.

As Harry accepted, he found himself to be glad that the two friends weren't there in the end, it would have been too fresh and painful for the Longbottoms and the Lovegoods were too precious to witness that.

In the back of his mind, Harry wondered if his spells were useful as the Roberts got taken as victims and what people out of the protections had seen.

Spoiler: nothing, all thanks to his spells with the help of the twins. But the wizards who were inside saw everything and had lot to say.
