• Werewolf's entrance

Harry stepped out of the carriage and wrapped his winter cloak more tightly around him before standing beside George, or Fred, in a straight and perfect line that madame Maxime made them rehearsed.

The whole of Hogwarts were waiting for them in the Viaduct courtyard, all in their black robe worn for the occasion, and Harry was really glad he warned his schoolmates to charm their cloak for warm spells because it was certainly freezing for an October month. Scotland's weather getting less and less bearable.

Or maybe it was only him who got used of the south of France's  perfect weather.

Anyway, Harry pulled out a huge grin when his eyes caught his dad's huge form among Hogwarts' people and lingered in the back when Beaux Bâtons delegation moved formation to be placed on the other side to wait for Drumstrang's arrival, so he could be closer to his dad when the half-giant approach to take care of the abraxans. Madame Maxime had to add they only drink single-malt whiskey to be polite because Harry already have told his dad so and for knowing his dad's love for creatures, he couldn't have forgot.

As Drumstrang's transportation was showing up, Harry couldn't give a sod when he caught the look his dad exchanged with his head of school. And he didn't know what to think because on one hand, his dad deserved all the loves, but on the other will he become a family with his school's headmistress?

Harry snapped back to the present when people started to cheer.

And he knew the reason because it was the one he was there, so he clapped his hands and shout along all the others screams to applaud Vikto Krum's presence. He got a nudge in the ribs from none other than Fleur, who, despite her beautiful smile, was promising all kind of torture if he didn't stop embarrassing Beaux Bâtons' name with his behavior. And Harry, who valued his life, shut up immediately.

Walking into the Great Hall, under the enchanted ceiling, was as enchanting as the first time and Harry didn't hide how fascinated he felt all the while doing the academy's choregraphed entrance. Needless to say, with Fleur passing at the end, any male student beyond fourth years (with the occasional third years) were mesmerized and had to snap back to reality when Durmstrang made their own impressing entrance, with Viktor closing with his strong presense. Harry had to clench his fist on his sides to not clap once again and pursed his lips to not hang his jaw open because the twins will never let him go if they caught him.

Then, because it was the school hosting the triwizard, Hogwarts students welcomed them with the Hogwarts song, sung in various tune.

Harry couldn't help but laugh as his school mates' (and Durmstrang, but mostly Viktor's lost look) uncomfortable expression. He never actually got the chance to hear the start-of-term feast as he was never there to eat to not disturb the new students' sorting ceremony but being on the other side, it was a little disconcerting when no one matched anyone's tempo. Worse than all, the twins sang under their breath with a slow funeral tune and finished way after the actual singing students or even the professors on the platform. Harry had to bit his lips to not burst out laughing, making him look like he's mocking Hogwarts and trailed behind his school mates as they each chose where to sit.

If the twins had their former house that had empty seats prepared for them, Harry hesitated. He had friends in every houses, except the Slytherin, but Cedric had his own set of friend at Hufflepuff, and though it would be more fun at Gryffindor's table as most of them were there, he felt it quite douchy of him to leave Luna by her own, especially knowing that she didn't have any friend at Ravenclaw. So, after one last look at the lion table and a smile that people could interpret for the twins, he hopped to the eagle's table and grined when Luna made place for him beside her. To most, he must be following his fellow Beaux Bâtons who had chosen Ravenclaw because of sharing the color blue in their school wear, but for the observants sixth and seven years he could be recognized as the gamekeeper's son, who had vanished before 1990-1991 school year.

As the welcoming feast was heading to an end, the ministry officials finally made their arrival with dad and professor Dumbledore announced that messrs. Runcorn head of the International Magical Co-operation (Percy's superior) and Bagman would also be judges of the tournament as they helped organized it. The announce turned to explanation about the goblet of fire that had a line of protection against underages and yadda, yadda.

"Yeah, interesting, maybe Percy will even show up, but what about the inter-house Quidditch tournament? Do you think they'll accept Beaux Bâtons and Durmstrang's teams too?"

"I doubt it, Harry," Luna told him matter-of-factly. "Because the inter-house Quidditch cup is cancelled due to the triwizard tournament taking place."

    "What?! Quidditch is cancelled?!"

He must have shout more loudly than expected as he felt eyes on him, his school mates mostly as they were closer, but Harry couldn't care less and glared at the twins who must have known it when insisting on him being part of the delegation. And sure, being up close to Viktor Krum was a honor, but there's no point when he couldn't play Quidditch with him. Harry couldn't even give them a piece of his mind as they skedaddled to the Gryffindor's common room as they were allowed to sleep with their former dorm mates from first and second years while Harry was forced to follow his fellow Beaux Bâtons back to their huge carriage.

Well, he'll be seeing them tomorrow since they wanted to put their name despite knowing fully well how they won't be able to participate and once they will be deterred from the rejection, Harry certainly won't be living them in one piece.

Incredibly enough, the twins managed to avoid him all of the following day too.

Harry then remembered how they had the Marauder's map in their first years at Hogwarts and how they also created one for Beaux Bâtons, so it actually made sense they knew how to not run into him. Not even helping him in his objectives, the rest of Weasley siblings and their shared friends also made their goal to busy him elsewhere so their path did not cross, finishing to frustrate Harry.

Not even a call from Sirius did help as he ended up snapping at his godfather who only taunted him how the full moon was two days ago. Interestingly, the excuse of difference of time zone didn't work.

As it was the week-end, Harry spent every meals in the secret passages of the castle trying to catch the twins, kitchen in the morning, Room of Requirement at lunch that he introduced to his friends who made a comment full of amazement how even the twin didn't know about that. If that lifted his spirits a little, it wasn't enough as Harry went back in the hunt of two identical ginger. With their friends hot in his stead, angering him of their treason.

It was such that he threatened Luna of eating at the Hufflepuff table, which she shrugged, not that hurt. Which disappointed him because he wasn't actually going to do it, he would feel even more alone as Harry was pretty sure Cedric would be chosen as champion, having full confidence in their friend slash neighbour.

And eventually, he did sit at the Ravenclaw table, because the rest of Beaux Bâtons did and not because he was scared to be lonely. At least, he was pleased to see how the twins got what they deserved and sporting bruises under the long white beard covering half of their face, thanks to the line of protection.

As expected, every name of champion that got out of the goblet were those Harry guessed. Fleur Delacour of Beaux Bâtons, Viktor Krum of Durmstrang and Cedric Diggory of Hogwarts. Harry yelled among the loudest for the last one and gave the bloke a tap in the back when he passed to join the other champion in the chamber of reception.

But as the commotion was slowly calming down, the Goblet lit on fire once again and one last piece of parchment sput out. Headmaster Dumbledore caught it in the air and read the name in whisper, but in the silence, it was as loud as the previous cheers.

    "Harry Potter."

Harry lost his smile very fast.
