• Albus Dumbledore, Harry's parents' headmaster

When it was time for the students to return to Hogwarts, Harry went to see professor Snape to ask him to be taught brewing potions.

And not regular potions, but the wolfsbane potion.

Of course, Sirius had funds thanks to what he inherited from his favorite uncle Alphard Black but if he kept using it to purchase really expensives potions with extremely rare ingredients, even all that gold will go low. Harry had spent four full moons with free wolfsbane potion thanks for the Forbidden Forest having some of the ingredients but he heard that three years ago, there were shortage of aconite also known as wolfsbane and monkshood and that Hogwarts' stock could run empty pretty fast when the potion master was brewing it for three people.

But he also heard that the Potter family had quite the wealth thanks to Harry's grandfather who created a potion for hair. And since brewing the wolfsbane potion was for his own good, he could use this money to purchase hard to get ingredients and brew the potion by himself to not count of other people. And also because Bill and Charlie would be too busy with their post as head-boy and prefect of Gryffindor and Percy wasn't much of conversation partner.

Professor Snape was...not really fond of the idea. He said to not have any patience as teaching brainless baboons on the daily was difficult enough and Harry had zero knowledge or experience in potion-making. But Harry played his cards well and reminded the man who he was son of.

That's right, Lily Evans, his childhood neighbour, first friend even and the woman he reacted strongly when seeing her echoe through the prior incantato that he got to see only thanks to Harry himself.

Professor Snape grumbled and eventually accepted, justifying that he could finally be relieved of one more task if the boy really could manage to brew such a difficult potion. Harry wasn't deterred by the dig, he was the grandson of a potion master.

Seeing Harry getting himself taken care of by having such heavy responsability as making their monthly treatment, Remus decided that it was time for him to find a real job and keep it so his income would stabilize and he could provide his family and not rely on others. Following suit, Sirius finally returned in the aurors' ranks, as exactly a year have passed since he got his name cleared and free of action, and every days he got out of Hogwarts at 6 o'clock and get back at 7 on the dot to be welcomed by his beloved godson.

Over the course of the year, Harry was once again invited to the Weasleys for the holidays expecially since there was another curse that locked students in portraits.

When Remus informed them that he got a job as curse-breaker in the Gringotts bank as the head curse-breaker Patricia Rakepick had left her post to be dada teacher at Hogwarts, the good news was overlaped by the news of the Longbottoms recovering from their madness under magical torture.

It seemed that using a former death eater as lab rat turned out efficient as mediwizards could use a spell of intellectual stimulation to reverse the effects of a crucio, like what the Ravenclaw diadem that could enforce the wearer's wiseness. Something that was proven by Harry himself to help him got whatever Sev was telling him when the man was too careless to see he was talking to a eight years old.

Thanks to that, the Longbottoms had a chance to reunite with the former auror couple trying to get to know their son who had the same age of Harry and Ron. And who was literally born a day before Harry and who became another of his impressed audience to his early magical feats because Harry liked to do magic before even being enrolled at Hogwarts and nothing could stop him as he lived daily in a magic school and was using his own wand now with Voldemort's hidden close to his mother's letter but separated by the invisibility cloak as he's done discovering the castle. That's how a new family joined in the gatherings of the Ottery St. Cathpole neighbourhood.

As the school year was ending, Harry was merely surprised, he and Sev both, to learn the dada professor turned out to be a traitor and only rejoiced with everyone that the Buried vault was taken care of. And for being part of the group who tried to shake off the portrait curse and being the seventh year with exceptional N.EW.T.s results, Bill was awarded the "Medal of Magical Merit" which was exhibited in the trophy room.

When Harry celebrated his ninth birthday, he did it with his loved ones at the Burrow as most of them were near it with both Remy and Siri taking the day off.

It's also the year he learned what happened to the horcruxes.

There were actually five of them. The locket of Slytherin, the diadem of Ravenclaw, the cup of Hufflepuff, the ring of Gaunt family and the diary of one Tom Riddle who happened to be Voldemort's actual identity.

To destroy them, one needed to use the most destrutive spell, the fiendfyre curse, or the most deadly poison of the Basilisk which didn't even exist anymore as their existance was a sin. Before either Dumbledore, Remy, Siri or Sev used the curse to destroy such precious heirlooms (except for the diary, maybe) they tried to look into rituals that could banish horcruxes from artefact in a more passive way. And considering how Lily Potter née Evans had found one with blood protection, they certainly could achieve so to. Thus, all five artefacts remained undamaged even though the piece of soul were definitely destroyed, much to Kreacher's joy and peace in memory of his master Regulus Black. All heirloom were since exhibited in the headmaster's office, behind locked cabinet along with Gryffindor's sword. The ring was hidden and locked into a shut box after a supposed usage from the headmaster himself that only heads of the school knew the position (so, all of the portraits in the office). Harry insisted to have the diary too which he got more easily than what he expected.

Then, Harry became curious as of how each was found out.

First, the locket was hidden by the Black family house-elf Kreacher who got it from a former death eater Regulus Black who defected after disagreeing Voldemort's mistreatment to Kreacher. After losing his beloved master, Kreacher was set on destroying the dark artefact as per the order but couldn't and had it in possession for the next six years in which in favorite mistress Walburga Black passed, giving the Black title back to Arcturus Black. After Sirius got released, he went to search around his childhood house and got back his belongings after his incarceration and found out about the locket at the same time but had to question Kreacher about the meaning after sensing the dark aura before going to Dumbledore, where Harry heard the conversation.

The ring was found out after Dumbledore and Sirius' shared theories, making Sirius heading to the last Gaunt abode known as the headmaster couldn't leave the castle having to do his job. After shaking off all the curses around the shack with the help of Remus who insisted to go with him after learning about his task in preventing Voldemort's possible return. They got the ring and brought it the same day Harry found a horcrux on his side too.

Harry knew about the origin of the diadem but was interest in knowing how professor Sev was involved in the hunt of horcruxes too. The man was a former death eater but defected when Voldemort wanted to harm his childhood friend Lily and was since then working as double agent in case the dark lord did return. With his deep knowledges in dark arts, he was the one to expose the possible choices in destroying the horcruxes without damaging the artefacts.

The cup and diary were actually a funny story. Harry had thought they would have involved the aurors in this as they suggested, but the whole track should stay a secret because otherwise would mean that Voldemort wasn't dead yet and no one wanted him back after the disaster he caused in teh British wizarding world. The stake of putting other people in the plan was too important so they used Kreacher again, but mostly as his statue of house elf and his love for his master Regulus saying they were other dark artefacts that should be destroyed and that, after that, they will retrieve Regulus' corpse so he could have a well-deserved funerals.

So, after some house elves nosiness with two from the Malfoy household, as those Lestranges' went to work for the closest blood-related family, they discovered the cup was hidden in the Lestranges' Gringotts vault and the diary was hidden distastefully in Lucius Malfoy's safe. For the latter, convincing Malfoy's elf was easy enough, Dobby was surprisingly a big supporter of Harry Potter the destroyer of his masters' lord and stole and replaced the diary for them. For the cup, they requered advice from the goblins themselves, it was possible to retrieve thing from one's vault only for the owner, whether their presence should be odd at the time, so Sirius asked for his little cousin Nymphadora Tonks to morphed into her aunt Bellatrix to take a hair of the crazy cousin and use polyjuice to take her appearance (which made him rekindle with his favorite cousin in the worst way possible: 'seven years without contact and the first thing you ask me is a portrait of Bellatrix?' 'I know, Andy, I promise I explain everyhting in due time."). It worked. And all horcruxes disappeared during summer, when Harry was spending his third werewolf transformation at the Burrow.

What Harry didn't know was that the four men came to be convinced of one dreadful fact. Harry must also be a horcrux.

Due to Voldemort creating so many horcruxes, his soul must be so fractured it broke in this fateful night. He must have created one unconsciously in the panic, while the main piece of soul wandered aimlessly in the realm of the living just waiting for its time to resurrect, explaining why his corpse was never found.

That was the reason Albus Dumbledore wanted Harry to be raised in his aunt's house as the blood protection of his late mother in him would be enough. But Harry grew to his dad and was raised by the half-giant instead. He also started to suspect Harry to be a horcrux when the infant of two years only was speaking to a friendly snake, making him a parseltongue while no member of his family was. And really none, as he looked into the Evans family and their ancestors that were descendants of John Bunyan, a writer of theology and actually a wizard. It was also the reason why Harry never ventured outside of Hogwarts as it was well protected and that unconvicted death eater or possessed Voldemort could not reach him as his actual identity was held secret, though the boy always thought that his dad needed him by his side and had renamed him as Harry Hagrid. Maybe it also explained how Harry always wanted to have Voldemort's possession with him.

Now having high expert wizards as his guardians, Harry had more places to visit, the Burrow with his surrounding experts witches and wizards, the Hogsmeade village and Diagon Allay for regular visits with his dad figures.

Unfortunately, the new school year proved to be the last straw for Harry.

Because of the above reasons, Severus Snape was put in position to teach occlumency to young Harry, who had to rely once more on the Ravenclaw diadem for such tough subject, and the disarming spell.

Then, having the pranksters twins taking Bill's place at Hogwarts was fun, especially when they managed to sneak the Marauder's map from mr. Filch's office so Harry could also wander around the castle with them.

But the news of a dark wizard roaming around Hogwarts making anyone unable to leave the school's grounds (so down the Hogsmeade outings), a new curse was threatening the students and staff's life by petrifying them and Rowan Khanna who taught Harry so much passed in the Forest grove, somewhere Harry found solace thanks to the creatures living in there nevermind it was also the place he got bitten.

At the end of the year, he asked his guardians to leave the place and even Britain.

For Remus, it was an easy decision as he could ask Gringotts to place him in another branch in the world, it was more difficult for Sirius and his dad they both had so many fond memories. But after some more convincing, Sirius suggested France as he knew the language and the Black family had some houses there. Rubeus Hagrid remained at Hogwarts, promising to exchange with them regularly and lamenting how Harry won't ever experience the sorting hat. Harry didn't say how all the competitiveness was making him uncomfortable as he made friends with a lot of Charlie's age mates no matter which house, what he said was that British wizarding law was really rough on werewolves and if Harry didn't mind, he's not going to let his Remy suffer more after seven years of lonely and painful transformation. The goblins never cared what he was as long as he brought them treasures and being absent for a period of time was literally part of the job, so it's not even a problem.

Harry also proposed the twins to go with them, seeing as first years students like them couldn't be feeling well after hearing about the death of a student. The twins showed hesitation as they could hang with two of the Marauders who they admired very much and probably had more way to turn their prank in a new magic school, but that would mean leaving their family behind. Harry also got it and kept the offer open for the end of their next year, but refraining from doing so to Ron as he knew his friend wanted to go to Howarts.

Harry made a long serious goodbyes to his friend of Ottery St. Catchpole, including the Longbottoms, promising to not be a stranger.

Then, with his box of belongings and his two last family members, he left the United Kingdom ready to learn French and meet incredible French wizards.

Eventually, the Weasleys twins accepted his proposition, after figuring that playing Quidditch without their older brother Charlie as seeker once the latter graduated wouldn't be as funny (nevermind that the keeper and future captain Oliver Wood will be appaled to hear the departure of all three Weasleys brothers next year and that the last one, his dormmate Percy, will hear an earful at the start of term. Look like, the twins will be a menace to Percy even in their absence) and thinking they could always created their own Marauder's map of Beaux Bâtons. Of course, the twins and the found family could return to Great Britain for holidays, so it was basically an exchange (like this exchange student from Castellobruxo, Alanza) but for year long and they had to learn a little French though Beaux Bâtons could certainly speak English since they accepted students all over France's borders countries.
