Anthony Horowitz, an English novelist, wrote a large amount of fantasy littérature. Mostly with children as protagonists.
Three main series can be listed :
    - The Pentagram series, the earliest novels written in 1980's with four books.
    - The Groosham Grange serie, two books written in 1988 and 1993.
    - The Power of Five serie, five books published between 2005 and 2012.

Actually, the first and third series are pretty much the same, Horowitz just rewrites it so it could fit in the modern timeline, in XIX century.
Basically, what's in common in those Three series are the protagonist, a young boy about 12-13 years old (14 in the Last), who's involved into some magic scheme where he isn't really his own master.

For my part, I just want to meddle those universe (even if two of them are the basically the same) and create crossover fiction.
Richard Cole, an English journalist, nearly dies in the fourth book of the Pentagram.
[Due to the rivality between David Eliot and Vincent King, the two seventh son of seventh son faced each other in brewing potion in the ellipsis before the end of the second book of Groosham Grange. It goes wrong and it affect onto another universe which is Pentagram's, and touch Richard.
Next thing he knows, he wokes up in the Gazette of Greater Malling, one april day, way before all those witchcraft ans magic happen. Needless to say, he goes in adventure to fins his young friend so they could destroy the Old Ones.
But, well, those Five don't exist in this universe.]
Jill Green and Vincent King, two students of Groosham Grange, are training in potion before exam but they provoked an accident and it involved two other universes, who happened to be the same but not really, having only five teens fighting horde of demons with the companion of one Richard Cole. Who happens to almost die in 1983 so the potion bring him onto another universe, in 2005. To fix it, Jill and Vincent choose to help Richard and the kids, without knowing that David got involved too.

Magic at Groosham Grange: (For GCSEs fourth and fifth year:) "Telepathy, Weather Control, Wax Modelling and (the trickiest of the four) Advanced Blood Sacrifice". (In general:) spell that could freeze people, "We can teach you how to make gold out of lead, how to destroy your enemies just by snapping your fingers. We can show you how to see into the future and use it for yourself.", "“the law of similarity”. In this, a wax model stands in for the victim of the witch’s anger. Whatever is done to the model, the human victim will feel.", cookery class to make milk shake.
